At Gruvon we keep it simple. Our guitars are all dreadnought size with Sitka spruce tops. Rosewood or Mahogany body. Classic, full sound. Gloss finish. Optional abalone inlays and decorations. We build what we love to play and own.
SERIES
Flight
The Flight series is our very best. All solid wood construction gives awesome tone and looks. Available with beautiful abalone inlays.
Freedom
The Freedom series is one of the world's best values in acoustic guitars. A solid Sitka Spruce top gives a superior tone. Beautiful glossy finished body of mahogany or rosewood. Available in a 12-string.
First
The First series is our budget line, a tremendous value for beginners and students. Constructed from multi-ply laminate, the First has the familiar Gruvon tone and good looks.
CONSTRUCTION
Gruvon guitars are all built with Sitka Spruce tops. Body woods are a choice of deep rich colored Rosewood or a lighter Mahogany. Tops are braced using traditional X-bracing for a classic tone.
Sitka Spruce Top
Sitka Spruce is the world's most popular top wood, used on perhaps 90% of all guitars. It has a strong fundamental tone that produces a good punchy sound with great headroom. It's tight grain and light color make a beautiful guitars.
Rosewood Body
Rosewood is a deep beautiful rich brown with a large dark grain pattern. The tone is highly resonant, with full, deep basses and brilliant trebles.
DECORATION
You can have your Gruvon guitar decorated the way you like - with simple elegant features or extensive inlays, or something in between. We take pride in our guitar's beauty.
Headstocks
Headstocks are inlayed with abalone, the Flight series with the Gruvon Wings logo, the Freedom and First series with the Gruvon Text logo.
Fingerboards
Each model has unique fingerboard inlays of abalone or mother of pearl. The ESD-530 features extensive inlays with a Gruvon Wing at the 12th fret.
Binding
The Flight series features a natural wood maple binding throughout. Freedom and Flight series are Ivory ABS.
